Privacy notice
A working draft of the privacy notice for this pre-product website. It describes what the current implementation actually does with the information you enter, including the fact that no intake receiver is configured.
This notice is a working draft prepared for the current implementation. It has not been reviewed by qualified legal counsel and is not legal advice. Data-handling arrangements must be confirmed with counsel and the deployment provider before public launch.
1. Who this notice covers
This website is operated by NiGeNje, based in Nairobi, Kenya. For privacy questions, write to contact@nigenje.com. This notice covers this public website only. It does not describe the privacy practices of a future hosted platform service, which would require its own notice.
2. Information the forms collect
The contact and design-partner forms ask for the information you choose to enter:
- your name;
- your work email address;
- your organisation (optional);
- an area of interest or request type; and
- a free-text message describing the problem you are evaluating.
The forms also include a hidden anti-bot field that must remain blank. A Cloudflare Turnstile token is included in the request and verified server-side before any submission is considered.
3. What happens when you submit today
No intake receiver is configured. Submitting the form does not store or forward your information. The request is sent to a same-origin route on this website, which checks the request origin, size, schema, honeypot field and human-verification token. Because no confirmed upstream intake endpoint exists, the route then returns HTTP 503 and tells you the message was not sent or stored. There is no database, CRM, email-forwarding service or third-party lead distributor connected to the form.
If you use the email fallback, your message is handled by the email provider that delivers it. That route is outside this website’s technical controls, and email is not a secure channel for secrets or sensitive personal data.
4. Human verification
Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled for the intake forms. The browser loads a Cloudflare script and a token is verified server-side; Cloudflare processes technical data such as request metadata under its own terms. Verification is only an anti-abuse control: while no confirmed intake receiver is configured, the site states that nothing was sent or stored.
5. Hosting and technical logs
The hosting and edge provider — the deployment target is Cloudflare for nigenje.com — may process standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamp and requested path for security and reliability purposes. This site does not configure analytics, advertising pixels, session replay or behavioural tracking. Provider-side retention and regional processing must be confirmed for the deployed configuration before launch.
6. Cookies and browser storage
This implementation does not intentionally set analytics, advertising or preference cookies. See the cookies notice for the current position, including the possibility of strictly necessary provider cookies at the edge.
7. Retention and deletion
Because the intake route stores nothing in the current configuration, there is no intake retention period to describe. If intake is enabled, a retention period, access policy and deletion process must be defined and this notice updated before any submission is accepted.
8. Your choices
- Do not submit secrets, credentials or special-category personal data.
- Use the email fallback if you need a route outside the form.
- Ask a question about this notice by emailing contact@nigenje.com.
Any statutory rights available to you depend on your jurisdiction and on arrangements still being established. This draft does not create rights or commitments beyond those required by applicable law.
9. Changes
This notice will change as the service evolves and before any intake receiver is enabled. The draft status at the top of the page indicates that the current text is not final.
